Hino Enters Class 8 with XL Series

Hino.XL.Series DUO IMAGE 74406Hino Trucks has unveiled its new line of XL Series models. This all-new lineup rounds out Hino's Class 7 products and launches them into the Class 8 market for the first time in the U.S. The Hino XL7 and XL8 models are powered by Hino's A09 8.9L turbo-diesel inline-six engine; the A09 claims a B10 life of 1 million miles, according to Hino. The Hino XL Series will be offered in a host of straight truck and tractor configurations ranging from a GVWR of 33,000 lbs. to 60,000 lbs. and GCWR up to 66,000 lbs. with max performance of 360 hp and 1,150-lbs./ft. torque. Production of the new Hino XL7 and XL8 will start in early 2019.
